FAIR TRADE

 This last days we have had two lessons with some people who where involved in Emaus fundation.

 In the first lesson they give us, they explained through a power point all the things we needed to know about Emaus, such us what is it, who are they, what they do, and so on. The Emaus fundation is related to fair trade and they talked us about it also in the first lesson. 

 
  


  
Fair trade is an alternative to conventional trade and is based on cooperation between producers and consumers. It offers producers a better deal and in this  way, this allows them the opportunity to improve their lives and to plan their future.  
Fair trade offers consumers an effective way to reduce poverty. When a product has the Fair Trade mark means that the producers and traders have met Fair trade standards.
 There are a lot of products of Fair Trade, such as tea, coffee, fresh fruits and nuts. There are also flowers and plants, sports balls and seed cotton.



The second day, last Friday, we had a different type of lesson. We did a type of interview to a woman of India who worked in the Emaus fundation.It was a










 

NGO

Our teacher told us that we had to look for information and we a little bit about a NGO and we decided to write about Greenpeace because it is the one we like and we think that they do an excellent work and they also contribute with the nature and with different actions.

WORLD AFFAIR

Last week we worked with a world affair and we decided to speak about Cashmere conflict because we think it is interesting.

CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY

In our Christmas, we went to the cinema and watched a film called "los miserables" and we decided to watch it in the original language but with subtitles and it was amazing. we almost understood everything and when we did not we had there the subtitles.

TRIP TO PARIS

During our last classes we have been working on a wonderful trip to Paris.
In the beginning, we did not know very well how to do it but once we started we enjoy it because it was funny to dream about going with friends to Paris all together.


We chose to go to Paris because we like it a lot, the sights, the museums and so on. Also, because it is a good opportunity to get to know a different culture, habits and new people with a different style of life.

EUROPEAN CHALLENGES

A Pecha Kucha on Constitution.
Our teacher told us that we had to talk about the European Union Constitution and since that moment we thougt it was not interesting. The commission allowed people to have the same rights in Europe.

As a conclusion, we think that there are more important things to be solved. And also that it is a boring staff to talk between young people.

MINORITY LANGUAGES

In the beggining of the course, we decided to talk about minority languages because we tought that it could be an interesting project to work with.
In our opinion, they do not care enough about these languages spoken by many people all over the world.

As a conclusion, we want to say that it is quite interesting and that they have to make some changes acording to minority languages.
